Have you crafted a legendary tale from your D&D campaigns? Perhaps you’ve imagined thrilling adventures in your favorite campaign settings? Now’s your chance to share these stories with our passionate community of roleplayers and fantasy enthusiasts!
We Want Your D&D Stories, In Whatever Format
- Short Stories: 1,000 to 5,000 words
- Serial Fiction: Multi-part stories (please submit the first installment)
- Character Vignettes: Bring your favorite PC or NPC to life
- Campaign Journals: Dramatized accounts of your most memorable sessions
DnD Fan Fiction Submission Guidelines
- Original Content: All submissions must be your original work.
- D&D Focus: Stories should be set in a D&D or D&D-inspired world.
- Family-Friendly: Keep content appropriate for all ages.
- Formatting: Submit in a .doc, .docx, Google Docs, or markdown format.
- Author Bio: Include a brief (100-word max) author bio.
How to Submit
Send your stories to loremaster@blackcitadelrpg.com with the subject line “D&D Fan Fiction Submission – [Your Story Title]”.

Selection Process
Our editorial team will review all submissions. Selected stories will be published on a rolling basis. Depending on the volume of submissions, we may or may not be able to provide individual feedback.
Rights and Usage
By submitting, you grant Black Citadel RPG the right to publish your story on our website and social media platforms. You retain all other rights to your work. Dust off those quills, sharpen your pencils, or fire up your word processors! We can’t wait to dive into the fantastic worlds you’ve created.
